One week until the Emerald Isle...

I can't believe it's almost here.

Seriously.

I went home this weekend to pick up my passport and suitcase, but it still hasn't hit me yet. I'm not really sure it will until we land in Dublin, but I'm okay with that.

Who said the number 13 was unlucky?

Only 13 days from now, I will be in Ireland with the Campbell University Choir! It all seems so surreal.

The last time I was overseas was my senior year of high school. I went to Greece and Italy for Mini-Term, a week-long event at NCSSM that students used to learn about a specific subject. I learned about mythology and present day cultures on our trip; it was a wonderful experience. But to be making a 3632 mile trek across the ocean with many of my best friends is a blessing I never thought I'd be able to experience. So, here's to the journey.
